Rapper Cardi B has given a hint that she might be in labor. On Friday, July 6th, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker reported indicated that she was in the hospital preparing for the arrival of her child. The purpose was to dismiss the rumors that suggested she was already a mother. The rapper is expecting a baby girl with her Migos star husband, Offset.
Cardi had posted a video online from what seemed to be her birthing suite and eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the wallpaper in the room was identical to the one used in patient rooms at a notable medical center located in Atlanta, Georgia. The mother-to-be stated that everyone had been messaging her with the claims, but she hadn’t given birth as yet.
Soon
after she had posted the footage, the rapper realized that she had
made a mistake because she had accidentally given out her location
and deleted the video promptly. Cardi had looked a bit dressed down
in the clip. The report came a little while after the hip-hop singer
had teased the release of her upcoming song, Who Want the Smoke, on
Twitter. The song is a collaboration with Offset and Lil Yachty and
will be released on Friday.
However,
she wasn’t able to interact with the fans for long as she fell ill.
She mentioned that she was suffering from a migraine and couldn’t
talk for long. This baby will be her first, but her husband already
has three kids with three different women. Cardi had revealed in
April that her partner ad already chosen a name for their daughter
and it was definitely a unique one.
Speaking
to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Cardi said that her husband had
already picked a name and she was going to let him announce it. The
couple had started dating early last year and got married secretly in
September.
