The American singer Ciara with her husband has called off her plan to celebrate her wedding in North Carolina. The newlywed couple’s decision is a reaction to the ‘Bathroom Bill’ which was passed earlier this year by the lawmakers.
Since its introduction, ‘Bathroom Bill’ has been a controversial story which has to enforce transgender to use gender specific bathrooms. The time when lawmakers introduced the law in the state of North Carolina, the singer with her man Russell Wilson was in the news of planning a grand wedding celebration in the state.
According to Mindy Weiss, the wedding planner of the Goodies hit maker, the couple had chosen an amazing venue in North Carolina and it was at the first priority of their list of venues. Talking to ‘The Knot’, Mindy said the couple wanted to get married in North Carolina first but they later decided to call it off because of upsetting law passed in the state. She told the bridal website, they were in perplexity over their decision and it was not first when the planner had to rethink for celebrity couple’s big day. She explained she had to do whole thing again and again for three times. However, they have finally decided to cancel their wedding plans in the state over the anti-transgender bill.
Ciara and Russell had Paris as the second choice in their list but their plan again did not go through as the date they wanted to get married on was clashing with Couture Fashion Week in the City of Fragrances. However, the couple did not give up on dreaming about their fascinating married plans and so they finally opt for Peckforton Castle as their destination nuptials. The site is a breathtaking beauty of 19th century and is located in Cheshire, England. It is at an hour’s distance from Liverpool and the couple was successful to have hosted 110 guests in their wedding.
The 30-year-old fashion model was really excited for her big day and believed her wedding planner would certainly help her make an amazing wedding day dream come true. Mindy too gushes over the big day of Ciara and Russell, and says she thinks her favorite part of their wedding was the ceremony because they are very happy. She says the journey to get their wedding destination was worth. Both the stars are delicious and she believes they both together make an excellent and really cool couple. She adds their wedding day was a big day for her as well as she really enjoys their relationship. It’s really amazing.
The planner said though she did the whole thing more than once and it was quite difficult for her to repeat everything all over again. However, she was really glad when the couple finally picked their neighboring country and then they ended up in London.
Ciara and Russell tied knot on July 6, 2016 and told the media even if their plans were felling through in regard of wedding destination, they think the castle was just the right choice. The couple also looked for various venues in their home country but England turned out to be simply magical and perfect to make their wedding like a fairytale.
