Fifth Harmony Will Always be United says Normani Kordei


As rumors of the band splitting have emerged, Normani Kordei has come out and said that Fifth Harmony remained united.

Camilla Cabello left the band at the end of 2016 and it became a four-member group. Since then, every member has tried solo ventures, with Normani’s duet with Khalid, named ‘Love Lies’, being the most recent one. These solo ventures have caused speculation regarding the band breaking up, with Normani, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregi and Dinah Jone each heading their own individual way.

However, Normani insists that the rumors are false and that the band have a relationship with each other that will never break. She said they all of the members considered Fifth Harmony their home, and that the group has been through a lot together, even feeling as if it was them against the world on occasions.

Another reason that fueled the speculation, was the band cancelling their tour of Australia with but, Naomi insists that Fifth Harmony is a resilient group of musicians. Regarding her new duet with Khalid, she added that she was very excited to have the opportunity, to show a different side of her to the people.

Meanwhile, Dinah Jane hinted, that she might be next member to venture solo, as she said that working by herself was a challenge and that it felt really good to do so. She and Leona Lewis worked together on the Christmas Medley last year, and she admitted that she was delighted with the experience. She added that it’s been a while since she did something on her own, and that working with Leona sparked in her passion and creativity, which she felt hadn’t been with her in a while. She admitted that she was not afraid of a solo pursuit and that it was the perfect way to express herself, something she greatly desired.
