Beyonce Scores Maximum Nominees At Grammy Awards 2017


The American singer Beyonce is all set to glorify herself at Grammy Awards for year of 2017 after she scooped as much as nine nominations. The Halo hit-maker who has been the choice of most categories in the history of Grammy is pleased to lead the show with the most nominations. Beyonce is already a prestigious winner of 20 awards at the show right from the beginning of her music journey. And with another nine nominations, she is just going to rock the 59th annual awards ceremony next year in February.

Beyonce with her hit album "Lemonade" will battle with Adele, Justin Bieber and Drake to win the crown in the most coveted category of "Album of the Year". She also has Strugill Simpson in the same category who is positive to be crowned for "A Sailor's Guide to Earth".

She is also the first artist to score mentions in pop, R&B, rock and rap categories in the same year. In addition, the singer has become the first singer to be mentioned in the areas of R&B, pop and rock for the same year. Other nominations that Beyonce has scored according to the Associated Press are:

Song of the Year for "Formation"
Record of the Year for "Formation" Best Rock Performance for "Don't Hurt Yourself "
Best Pop Solo Performance for "Hold Up"
Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Freedom"
Best Urban Contemporary Album for "Lemonade"

After Beyonce, the second lead of maximum nominations goes to Kayne West, Drake and Rihanna who have successfully scoped 8 nominations each in different categories at the Grammy. Then it comes to Adele who scored third lead with five nominations while

David Bowie who died earlier this year in January got four mentions for "Blackstar". Bowie's last album is nominated for "Best Rock Performance" as well as for "Alternative Music Album" while its title song earned the nomination in the category of "Best Rock Song" at Grammy.

James Corden will host the award ceremony that is going to hit the stage of Los Angele's Staples Center.

The Grammy Awards 2017 is scheduled for February next year while its complete list of main nominations is already released and can be read as follows:
