Adele Froze During Grammys Audio Issues

On Monday at the Grammy Awards, Adele’s performance of her song All I Ask was plagued by audio issues and the singer said that she ‘froze’ due to them. When she sang her emotive ballad, the 27-year-old singer became the source of a storm on Twitter as fans were not pleased with her singing and declared it less than perfect. After the incident, Adele tweeted that the piano mics had fallen on the piano strings, which caused the guitar sounds and had an impact on the tune’s sound.

Scheduled to air on February 18th, Thursday, Adele made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and gave further explanations regarding the situation. She admitted that the audio mishap had left her ‘embarrassed’. The singer said that she had immediately figured out the problem and she wanted to fix it, but she froze. The singer said that they had eventually sorted the problem and she thought she had done quite well as she considers herself a bit pitchy.

After the awards ceremony, Adele announced that she was taking a day off from her diet and would indulge herself in an In-N-Out Burger. However, she confessed to Ellen that the microphone troubles at the event had overwhelmed her with emotions. She said that it had caused her to try, but also added that she would have cried even if the performance had gone well.
