The most happening newcomer of the year 2014, Happyness are set to come up with their new single 'A Whole New Shape' that will be available as soon as 30th March 2015.
Arrived in the music world with ‘Weird Little Birthday’, the new rocking band has the artistry of harmony to familiarize itself. Undoubtedly, the music these boys are creating is going to be the brilliance of sunset scenery and something really different.
Consisting of the singer-guitarist Benji Compston, bassist Jonny Allan, and drummer Ash Cooper, Happyness captures the surroundings around with their own natural grace. You might, on the other hand, see some of the entirely different songs by the band as ‘Baby, Jesus’ (Jelly Boy)” including the lyrics ‘I’m the motherfucking birthday boy & don’t steal my thunder, baby Jesus’, that are enough to distinguish the group as an exclusive bad boys band.
The band had a whirlwind period last year that eventually witnessed the South London trio making NME's Best Newcomers list and The Sunday Times Best Albums of The Year. After all the wonderful achievements in the early stage of their professional career, Happyness signed to Moshi Moshi Records for the UK. Their first single will arrive as part of the album re-pack, releasing the same day.
After one of the top openings with Birthdays on the 4th day of February, 2015 that will be a significant performance at the stage of the NME Awards Shows, Happyness also expects to be winning the honorable trophy for best lyric of 2014.
The boys will be rocking the live performance with Slow Club and Jaws throughout the coming days of February into March. The band then will be embarking on their next journey to the US for SxSW in the months of March and April.
